Whether your goal is to manage an existing eye condition or discover a suitable method of correcting less-than-ideal vision, you can trust that we will approach your needs with compassion and thoughtfulness, the way we would want for ourselves and our own families.
Important Information For Our Patients
Here at Long Vision Center we want our valued patients to know we take the health and well-being of every person very seriously. We are closely monitoring COVID-19 information from the CDC and WHO, as well as our state and local agencies. We will make informed decisions to ensure the safety of our patients, doctors and staff.
The goal in our office has always been to minimize the risk of infection. We have hand sanitizer available at both check-in and check-out areas, as well as in each exam room and our optical area. We have always had a strict policy regarding staff and patients that are exhibiting flu-type symptoms. Our staff are required to stay home and patients are required to reschedule if exhibiting any of these symptoms. Our new policy includes pre-screening all patient appointments with a series of questions including health symptoms and recent travel. You will receive a phone call if you have an appointment coming up and be rescheduled accordingly.
We strive to keep our office clean by sanitizing and disinfecting thoroughly all equipment and surfaces for patient safety. Our office has always followed strict protocol for this. These methods are now being done more frequently.
Every employee here at LVC has received additional training regarding the CDC guidelines for infection control, proper hand-washing, and disinfecting commonly touched surfaces.
Our goal is to continue to provide outstanding eye care to our patients and community in the safest way possible. We will continue to provide new updates as necessary.
